When learning English, the sooner the better. That’s why Nep English School offers courses for kids of 3 years old and up in which the children will approach the language in a playful and natural way, almost without noticing it.
The groups are limited and the classes consist of two hours per week full of games, tales, songs and crafts.
After this first stage, the students start a new phase in which they are introduced to the reading and writing. In addition, they are then initiated into the preparation of Cambridge International Examinations (until A2 level).
Our children courses are divided in 9 levels for students aged between 3 and 12 years old.
The school year begins in September and finishes in June.
Besides the English courses, we also organise a Winter Break Camp and a Summer Camp (before-school care and food service optional) for children between the ages of 4 and 12 years old who can enjoy English activities such as crafts, songs, games, open air activities, etc. Your child will learn English in a relaxed and fun way and will improve their fluency without realizing it.
We also offer the possibility of complementing the regular English course with a study-abroad program. For further information, please contact us.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum age to start the English classes?
Your child must be at least three years old and in the 1st pre-school year.
Are the classes entirely in English?
Yes, all our courses, even for the youngest students, are given in English. What we pursue is to get the children to become familiar with the intonation of English and musicality and to develop their comprehension skills.
Do you follow a textbook?
Yes, all the levels follow a textbook appropriate to the knowledge of the student. It is compulsory for every student to have a textbook for the classes to function well.
Will my children have homework to do?
Depending on the level and the needs of each group, the teacher can set homework to consolidate the lessons. Even if the children don’t have homework to do, we recommend them to revise at home what they have learnt in class. The more, the better.
Are there exams?
Yes, there will be three assessments, one each trimester. We objectively assess the knowledge acquired by the students. The exams are a tool to assess the students’ progress.
How can I get to know the evolution of my child’s level?
We provide a tutorial service all year in which you can meet with your child’s teacher. You can request it by phone or at reception.
